Emma’s writing has been published in Riverteeth, The Normal School, Ninth Letter, the Midway Journal, Craft, Cutbank, Great River Review, Rock and Sling, and elsewhere.
Her manuscript in progress has been named a finalist for Terrain’s Sowell Emerging Writer’s Prize, a finalist for Mad Creek Books Essay Collection Contest, and a Semi-Finalist for Black Lawrence Books Prize for Prose.
She is also the author of dozens of children's nonfiction books.
